Well, now that the scary part is over, where do we begin?…
I’ve been sharing my passion for gaming and all things pop culture for some time on Instagram for a while now just because I like to share my opinions on the things I love, and I honestly never thought that I was all that interesting… but something strange happened… people actually started reaching out to me asking for gaming advice! So I thought I’d take a leap into the wider world of blogging.
Gaming has always been a huge part of my life since I was a kid when I started playing my older brother’s Super Nintendo, and soon after his Game Boy and his Nintendo 64, which is when I fell in love with Hyrule and The Legend of Zelda. I even saved up all my pocket money to buy myself a Game Boy Advance so I wouldn’t have to fight my brother for the Game Boy all the time and I could play Pokémon and Super Mario Bros. whenever I wanted. I also played a lot of PlayStation with my friends growing up (I’m still convinced that the boulder in Crash Bandicoot is the source of my anxiety!), and the first console that I owned of my own was a PlayStation 2 and is when I fell in love with Kingdom Hearts. So when it comes to gaming, my heart and soul belong with Nintendo and PlayStation (you will see that I will dabble in a little Xbox play – but only until cross-play is a thing).
I’m not gonna lie, I don’t really have any idea what I am doing – I’m kind of just winging it, so if you’ve made it this far then thank you, you’re amazing… or you’re bored with nothing better to do… or perhaps both. I do hope that you enjoy my ramblings and opinions on all things gaming and pop culture and that you’ll continue to join me on my blogging journey.
